Wells Art Contemporary

I’m over the moon to have my painting ‘English Summer,’ selected for The Wells Art Contemporary exhibition.

Wells Art Contemporary (WAC) was established in 2012 by a group of artists in Wells, the beautiful cathedral city in the South-West of England. Wells Cathedral, dedicated to St Andrew the Apostle, is the seat of the Bishop of Bath and Wells. Its magnificent West Front dates from the 13th Century and in August each year the Cathedral becomes the venue for the annual WAC exhibition.

WAC is an open competition and exhibition for contemporary visual arts which has established a strong presence in the UK art world and which is drawing artists from places as diverse as Australia, Azerbaijan, India, Italy, Korea, Japan and the United States.

The exhibition runs from the 5th August- 2nd September 2023

Coventry Open Exhibition

I have been selected for Coventry Open 2023 which showcases work by West Midlands artists. On from the 24th March to the  21st May 2023.
This is a competition that has been set up to display local talent and provide selling opportunities for artists.
Coventry Open celebrates the quality and diversity of art being produced in Coventry and the wider region. Visual artists working in any medium were invited
to submit their work.
There were 1014 submissions, shortlisted to 248 and 109 works selected by the judges for the final hang.

‘Eternity,’ is an oil on canvas. A painting which is intended to capture the sense of eternal time through  an ocean that stretches seemingly endlessly into the distance.
