My landscapes use the measure of time. The seasons, day and night and the time in between. I am interested in capturing the feel of a space; this determines my mark making.
I like to be experimental responding to the materials as they react on the canvas. I build up layers and use different mark making techniques as appropriate to my subject matter. My favoured medium is oil paint.
